Bernie is of counsel to the firm. He is a registered patent attorney and a former adjunct professor of law at McGeorge, having taught courses in patents and trademarks.

Bernie advises clients in all aspects of intellectual property law. His degree in mechanical engineering and 31 years of experience have allowed him to base advice from a broad platform of experience. He has worked on projects in the past for individuals, small and medium businesses and corporations such as General Electric, Ford Motor Company, Robert Bosch, AMP Corp., US Steel, Norelco and Aristocrat Gaming. Prior to joining the Weintraub law firm, Bernie was in private practice. He has successfully argued before the Court of Appeal for the Federal Circuit.
