Practice Areas

Julie is a bankruptcy attorney with the firm and since bankruptcy issues impact nearly all aspects of the firm's practice, Julie works closely with all of the practice groups, in particular, Corporate and Real Estate.

Julie's practice emphasizes all aspects of bankruptcy issues. She has represented institutional, as well as individual creditors, and creditor committees in Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 cases. Before joining the firm, Julie was in private practice and also represented Chapter 11 and 7 debtors, and Chapter 7 trustees. She is also experienced in negotiating out-of-court work outs.

Julie has been a speaker and panelist for the Sacramento Valley Bankruptcy Forum, the Creditor Managers Association, and the Sacramento and Yolo County Bar Associations.

In addition to her legal career, Julie is actively involved in her community. She has been a volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, PLUS Instructor (Promoting Literacy United States), NAWBO (National Association of Woman Business Owners), KS&A (Board of Directors), Park Terrace Swim & Tennis Club (Board of Directors, Aquatics Committee), SLC Tithing Committee, Didion Traffic Calming Committee, Genevieve Didion Forum Fundraising Co-chair, VLSP (Debtor's Clinic), and a member of the Greenhaven Mother's Club.
