Practice Areas

Mark is a shareholder in the firm's Corporate and Intellectual Property groups. Mark focuses his practice on securities, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing and tech licensing for a client base ranging from emerging growth private companies to established publicly traded companies.

Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Mark practiced corporate and securities law for a large west coast regional law firm. In addition, Mark served as general counsel and vice president of operations for two software and hardware companies. Prior to his legal career, he worked as an accountant and financial and healthcare management consultant.

  • Representation of public technology company in a $300 million merger transaction.
  • Representation of two companies in public offerings aggregating over $110 million.
  • Representation of a public waste company in financings and acquisitions in excess of $15 million.
  • Active involvement in negotiating and closing the sale of assets of a private software company in a $4 million transaction.
  • Representation of a private cosmetics company in a $5 million merger transaction.
  • Active involvement in negotiating and closing the merger of a private software company in an $8 million transaction.
  • Active involvement in negotiating licensing, development, OEM, collaboration, strategic and service agreements with Fortune 1000 companies.
