Great America Insurance Co. v. Wells Fargo Bank

Represented Wells Fargo in an action brought against it by Great American Insurance Company, as the insurer of a local business which had been the victim of embezzlement by its former controller. We obtained summary judgment in favor of the bank based on the superior equities doctrine.
