Daniella is an associate in the Firm’s Entertainment practice group.
She joins Weintraub with a strong background in business affairs and production support from her work with Apple TV+, Anonymous Content, and Donaldson Callif Perez, LLP where she handled clearance matters as well as structured and negotiated a variety of development and production deals for original programming, including rights, talent, and writer agreements.
Daniella received a B.A in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara prior to earning her J.D. with a concentration in Entertainment and Media Law from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She had an early interest in both law and entertainment, attributing her career as an entertainment lawyer to Richard Gere’s role as a tap-dancing lawyer in the movie-musical Chicago. Daniella has worked in law firms throughout her educational years—starting in high school—holding positions as an intern law clerk.
Daniella has always been passionate about philanthropy. She has been involved with various organizations and fundraisers that benefit cancer and served as Philanthropy Chair of her sorority in college. Daniella is an accomplished singer and pursues her love of musical theatre in her time away from the office.
In her free time, you can find Daniella cooking Italian food, harmonizing to Broadway songs with her sister, and thinking up superior plot twists for her favorite TV shows.
