Health Reform Changes Medi-Cal Enrollment Processes For 2013

California Medi-Cal enrollment has undergone significant changes, effective January 1, 2013. The California Department of Healthcare Services (“DHCS”) implemented new Medicaid enrollment requirements as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, as amended by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (“PPACA”).
