Litigation/Transactional Legal Secretary – Sacramento

Weintraub Tobin’s Sacramento office is seeking a full-time (37.5-40 hours per week), Litigation Legal Secretary with transactional experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in supporting both litigation and transactional practices (preferably transactional real estate). The successful candidate will provide administrative and legal support to a fast-paced practice with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Candidates with the following experience will be considered:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation and transaction assistant/secretary
  • Current and extensive knowledge of both federal and state court rules
  • State and federal e-filing experience
  • Unlawful detainer litigation experience is highly desired
  • Familiarity with Real Estate transactions and documents
  • Current experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with formatting, redlining, and comparing documents
  • Familiarity with Worldox or similar document management system
  • Experience supporting a minimum of three attorneys

The successful candidate will also have the ability to:

  • Communicate effectively and diplomatically with other attorneys, secretaries, firm management, and other legal staff

Salary range: $70,000-$85,000
