Recruiting Coordinator – Sacramento
Weintraub Tobin is seeking a talented and experienced Recruiting Coordinator to join the Firm’s HR team – a diverse, collaborative, and forward-thinking team of HR professionals who support a dynamic group of attorneys and staff.
The Recruiting Coordinator has the primary responsibility of managing the full recruitment cycle for attorney and staff positions. The ideal candidate will take pride in establishing a positive first impression to engage and attract talent and help our Firm expand our ability to reach active and passive candidates. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position based in our Sacramento office. A hybrid schedule (3 days in the office; 2 days remote) may be available after 90 days of employment.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Firm’s practice areas, attorneys, and locations
- Consult with hiring attorneys and managers to identify position requirements and expectations
- Draft job postings, evaluate resumes, schedule and conduct interviews, and debrief interviewers
- Work closely with the Firm’s marketing team to message our strengths, expand our online presence on various social media platforms and industry specific job boards, and hone how we pitch the opportunities for each position.
- Source candidates by using databases and social media platforms
- Draft offer letters and track completion of conditions of employment (e.g. reference, background, and conflict checks)
- Manage applicant tracking system and develop understanding of hiring metrics including time to fill, source to hire, etc.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiters and law school career centers
- Assist with the coordination of On Campus Interviews (OCI)
- Assist with the coordination of the Summer Associate Program
- Stay up to date with current recruiting methods
- Provide support to HR team and handle other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred; commensurate experience considered
- 3+ years of experience in coordinating recruitment efforts in a professional services industry
- Working knowledge of HR policies and best practices including basic understanding of state and federal employment laws
- Strong writing skills
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Proficient in the Microsoft Word Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experienced with HR databases, ATS, and candidate management systems
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn)
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the Firm (i.e. shareholders, other attorneys, Firm management, and staff).
Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000
