David Diepenbrock in Sacramento Business Journal: County Rules That Gravel Mine Can Restart; $100 Million Lawsuit Remains

In a June 16, 2022 article for the Sacramento Business Journal, Mark Anderson writes that the County of Sacramento reversed a decision that shut down family operations at the Schneider Historic Mine more than a decade ago.

Weintraub Shareholder David Diepenbrock represents Joe and Yvette Hardesty, who leased the mine before the closure. Mr. Diepenbrock says the County’s decision has been a long time coming.

“While this is a step in the right direction, it is far too little and far too late. At a minimum, the County should have done this over 10 years ago.”
