Jeanne L. Vance To Lead American Health Lawyers Association Educational Discussion Regarding Legal Issues For Durable Medical Equipment Supplies

The Regulation, Accreditation, and Payment Practice Group (RAP PG) leadership of the American Health Lawyers Association will hold its next open membership call on Wednesday, November 4, from 3:00-4:00 pm Eastern. The call will include an educational discussion lead by Jeanne L. Vance, entitled:

“The Uphill Path to Payment for Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies Suppliers:
Securing and Retaining Government Payment for Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies Suppliers is Not a Path for the Faint of Heart.”

This substantive presentation will provide an overview of the path to doing so, including state licensure and accreditation, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, Medicare competitive bidding, and pricing/reimbursement. The presentation also will focus on supplier standards and will provide tips for surviving regular on-site visits/inspections.
