Weintraub Employment Group Launches “California Employment News” Video Series

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce the launch of California Employment News, a series of short, informational videos designed to keep California employers up-to-date on legal developments in employment law.

In California Employment News, attorneys from Weintraub’s Labor and Employment Practice Group discuss legal updates and a wide range of employment law topics to help California employers manage their employees and workplaces. California Employment News is an extension of Weintraub’s long-standing Labor and Employment Law Blog and the regular employment law seminars and webinars for which the Firm has become known.

“We value our clients and understand their busy schedules. When asked how we could continue to assist them in staying informed about employment law, several of them said it would be helpful to have short, easily accessible video updates discussing employment law developments,” said Lizbeth “Beth” West, Chair of Weintraub’s Labor and Employment Group. “California Employment News provides a way to deliver valuable information to California employers trying to navigate and comply with the complex web of federal, state, and local employment laws.”

In the inaugural episode, employment attorneys Meagan Bainbridge and Lukas Clary discuss a short list of best practices for employers to implement regularly, such as at the beginning of the year. Upcoming episodes cover the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), the erosion of confidentiality in settlement agreements, wage and hour issues, leaves and accommodations, employee discipline, and remote work arrangements.

Viewers can find California Employment News on the Weintraub YouTube channel, where they can subscribe for notifications of new episodes. They can also subscribe to the series here.
