Weintraub Tobin Welcomes Scott Cameron

Scott’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation and appeals. He has extensive experience representing and advising clients in matters based on antitrust, intellectual property, breach of contract, unfair competition, business torts, and constitutional law. He represents healthcare providers in litigation and binding arbitration against health plans over widespread reimbursement disputes and in disputes with local hospital districts.
Prior to pursuing a career in the law, Scott was a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, flying the F-4E Phantom II fighter as a Weapons Systems Officer. He is a decorated Master Navigator with several combat deployments in support of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. He recently retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Scott holds a J.D. with Great Distinction and Order of the Coif from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He is a faculty member for National Trial Academy for the American Bar Association, past chair of the Eastern District Judicial Advisory Committee, and member of the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys and the American Health Law Association. Scott is a board member and past chair of the Sacramento County Bar Association Appellate Section. He is admitted to the bar in both California and Nevada, all federal district courts in both states, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
