WT Deals: Sony Pictures Television Acquires “Faust” Superhero Comic

Sony Pictures Television has acquired the superhero horror comic “Faust” for development into an animated series. Creators David Quinn (writer) and Tim Vigil (artist) of Rebel Studios will serve as consulting producers on the adaptation. Brian Giberson of Black Mask Entertainment will executive produce and Matteo Pizzolo (Godkiller) will write the adaptation.
In addition to comic books, Quinn is a playwright and screenwriter. His other works include Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, Vampirella, Nightvision, and the children’s monster book Go To Sleep, Little Creep. Vigil is an influential horror comic book artist who received a nomination for the Bram Stoker Award for Best Illustrated Narrative in 1999.
