Weintraub Client Hollywood Gang Productions is set to co-produce a docuseries about the world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
The four-part docuseries titled “Nobu” will showcase the chef’s rise to fame and his unlikely path to success. AGC Television, Hollywood Gang, and Altimeter will co-produce, and the series will be directed by Matt Tyrnauer. Gianni Nunnari of Hollywood Gang is an executive producer, along with Tyrnauer, Corey Reeser (Altimeter), Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz, and BJ Levin of AGC.

A popular podcast by Weintraub client Sonoro Media will be adapted into a film for Paramount+.
The podcast, titled Toxicomania tells the story of a Mexican doctor who led a revolution during the 1940’s to legalize drug use in the country. It is a fictional story based on real-life events.

The animated adaptation of ND Stevenson’s bestselling graphic novel Nimona has been picked up by Netflix and Annapurna Pictures.
The film was originally under production and set to release this year from Blue Sky Studios, a division of then 20th Century Fox. The film was canceled, however, after Fox was acquired by Disney and Blue Sky Studios shut down in 2021. Netflix has partnered with Annapurna Pictures to continue production on the film and plans to release it in 2023.
