Mary K. deLeo Appointed Vice Chair of TEXCOM

SACRAMENTO, CA (September 26, 2021) – Weintraub Tobin, a leading California full-service law firm, is pleased to announce that attorney Mary K. deLeo has been appointed Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association, commonly known as TEXCOM. Comprised of 35 attorneys who volunteer their time for six-year terms, TEXCOM works toward a logical development of the law in the field of trusts and estates.

Mary is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Trusts and Estates Group, where her practice encompasses trust and estate litigation, trust and estate administration, conservatorships, fiduciary representation, estate planning, and elder law. In addition to her new position with the Trusts and Estates Executive Committee, Mary has served as Co-Chair of the Legislation Committee, Co-Executive Editor of the Trusts and Estates Quarterly, and Vice Chair of the Incapacity Committee. She writes and speaks regularly on topics related to trusts and estates law.

In 2019, Mary was appointed to a 3-year term with the Judicial Council of California Probate and Mental Health Advisory Committee, which makes recommendations to the Judicial Council for improving the administration of justice in decedent’s estates, conservatorships, and other probate matters. The Judicial Council is the policymaking body of the California courts, which is the largest court system in the country.
