WT Deals: Steve Conrad Set to Write “Game of Thrones” Prequel Series, “Tales of Dunk and Egg”

HBO has selected Weintraub client Steve Conrad to serve as writer and executive producer of a new series, “Tales of Dunk and Egg.” The show will be a prequel to the hit TV and book series, “Game of Thrones.”
Conrad is best known in television as the creator of the Amazon series “Patriot” and the AMC stop-motion animation series “Ultra City Smiths.” He is also well known as the screenwriter of the hit motion pictures “The Pursuit of Happyness” and “Wonder.”
Mr. Conrad is represented by Todd Stern and CAA.
