Two Weintraub Attorneys Named Top Authors in 2022 JD Supra Readers’ Choice Awards

Scott Hervey, who ranked second in a pool of over 1,500 Trademark authors on JD Supra this year, is an Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and Business attorney who works with companies in a variety of different industries. He is co-lead of the Firm’s Business & Legal Affairs group, and has extensive knowledge and experience in trademark law. He has represented clients in domestic and international trademark registration and enforcement in a variety of industries such as legal cannabis, cosmetics and beauty, fitness, gaming, entertainment and hospitality, wine and spirit brands, medical devices, and sports and entertainment.
Josh Escovedo has been recognized as the number one ranked Trademark author on JD Supra this year. Josh is an intellectual property, litigation, and sports attorney, practicing throughout California and nationwide. He is the leader of the firm’s Sports Law Group, and he has clients in various industries, including hospitality, real estate, sports and entertainment, agriculture, and construction. Josh has a hybrid practice, providing litigation and transactional services to his clients depending on the subject matter.
Both attorneys are frequent contributors to The IP Law Blog, and together founded and host the podcast and YouTube series The Briefing from the IP Law Blog, where they discuss current IP issues related to trademark, copyright, entertainment, and sports, as well as IP litigation and intellectual property in the news.
