WT Deals: Paramount+ to Produce Film Adaptation of Sonoro Podcast “Toxicomania”

A popular podcast by Weintraub client Sonoro Media will be adapted into a film for Paramount+.
The podcast, titled Toxicomania tells the story of a Mexican doctor who led a revolution during the 1940’s to legalize drug use in the country. It is a fictional story based on real-life events.
Sonoro will serve as an executive producer of the film.
Sonoro is represented by Weintraub attorney Shaun Gordon.
