WT Deals: Sonoro to Partner with Audible to Create Original Dual-Language Podcasts

Podcast network and Weintraub client Sonoro Media has struck a deal with Audible to create a new roster of original podcast shows in both English and Spanish.
The audio-forward, bilingual content from the partnership aims to continue to feature stories and talent from the Latinx and Hispanic community. The first of the projects are expected to begin launching this fall, with three shows currently slated: comedy thriller PREVIA: A Tech Heist starring Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Alan Cumming (The Good Wife); dark comedy Shaky from writer Katherine Craft (Apple TV+’s Best Foot Forward); and romantic comedy La Despedida featuring music from Romeo Santos.
Sonoro is represented by Weintraub Shareholder Shaun Gordon.
