Weintraub Attorneys Recognized on the 2023 Southern California Rising Stars List

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce that attorneys Tara Sattler, Shaun Gordon, and Jamie Lincenberg have been selected to the 2023 Southern California Rising Stars list. This list, compiled by Super Lawyers®, recognizes attorneys who are 40 or younger or have been in practice less than 10 years. All three attorneys were named to Variety’s 2023 Legal Impact Report, highlighting their groundbreaking work.
Tara Sattler is a Weintraub shareholder and serves as an ex-officio member of the Firm’s Managing Board. A member of the Firm’s leading Entertainment & Media group, she focuses her practice on representing production companies, producers, financiers, and content creators in the film, television, and multi-media spaces. Tara’s extensive experience includes the Oscar-winning theatrical film “CODA” (Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor Oscars 2022), the Emmy-winning documentary film “Street Gang: How We Got to Sesame Street” (Outstanding Arts and Culture Documentary, 2022), and advising on the launch of multi-platform mental health-oriented Wondermind.
Shaun Gordon is a Weintraub shareholder and member of the Firm’s Entertainment & Media group, where his practice encompasses film, television, podcasts, and new media. Shaun represents talent and producers in the podcast space, as well as actors, writers, and producers in film and television, along with authors and digital talent. Shaun’s talent clients include Guy Raz (“How I Built This”), Alex Goldman (“Reply All”), and Caleb Pressley (“Sundae Conversation”), and his producer clients include Sonoro (“Princess of South Beach”), At Will Media (“Wild Things”), and Treefort Media (“Chinwag”).
Jamie Lincenberg is an associate in the Firm’s Entertainment & Media group, where she represents a wide variety of talent including writers, directors and actors in scripted television and film projects as well as digital content creators on transactions across various digital verticals, including high-level brand collaborations, podcasts and partnerships. In addition, Jamie works closely with television and film productions on all of their legal needs from the early stages of development through production and distribution.
