WT Deals: Bon Secours Mercy Health Partners with Compass Surgical Partners to Expand Outpatient Surgical Care

Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH), the fifth-largest Catholic health system in the U.S., has partnered with independent, full-service ambulatory surgery center (ASC) management partner and Weintraub client Compass Surgical Partners to expand outpatient surgical care within the BSMH health system.
The partnership, announced on May 18, 2023, will see BSMH and Compass Surgical teaming up on multiple ASC projects starting this year, with more projects planned for 2024 and beyond. Expanding access to quality outpatient surgical care helps health networks provide more convenient and cost-effective options for their patients.
Weintraub shareholder Chris Anderson, part of the Firm’s Healthcare practice group, represented Compass Surgical Partners in the transaction.
