Josiah Prendergast Selected to Leadership Sacramento Class of 2024

Weintraub Tobin congratulates attorney Josiah Prendergast for being selected to participate in the Leadership Sacramento Class of 2024.
Josiah is a senior attorney at Weintraub Tobin, in the business litigation practice group. He focuses on corporate governance and litigating internal disputes between business owners, as well as breach of contract, real property disputes, and cross-over issues affecting trust-owned assets. Josiah has represented and counseled clients in a wide range of litigation matters, including fraud, commercial disparagement, and unfair competition claims.
Outside of his litigation practice, Josiah has participated in the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s young professionals group, Metro EDGE, on the Leadership Council and chaired their Engage Committee in 2022, where he led planning and implementation of relationship-building events.
Josiah has been recognized by his peers on numerous occasions, including being named to the Northern California Rising Star lists each year since 2018, being selected to Sacramento Magazine’s Top Lawyers 2023 for Commercial Litigation, and most recently, being named to The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America 2024 for Commercial Litigation.
Leadership Sacramento is a program of the Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation that develops community-minded business and civic leaders of tomorrow. This year-long interactive program provides a behind-the-scenes view of the issues that impact the region’s economy and culminates in the completion of a class-led community service project.
