Five Weintraub Attorneys Named to Top Northern California Super Lawyers Lists for 2024

Gary L. Bradus, Edward J. Corey, Jr., David W. Creeggan, Charles (Chuck) Post, and Lizbeth (Beth) V. West ranked in the Top 100 honorees in this year’s Northern California Super Lawyers list, and Lizbeth (Beth) West also ranked in the 2024 Top 50 Women Northern California Super Lawyers list.

Gary L. Bradus is the managing shareholder for Weintraub Tobin and member of the Corporate practice group. Gary represents businesses from formation through all stages of operation, assisting clients in many areas including employment, shareholder and director rights and duties, corporate governance, and other internal issues. He represents clients in connection with purchases and sales of businesses, emphasizing mergers and acquisitions and asset sales and stock purchases, and sales across all industries. Gary also represents lenders and borrowers in loan transactions from less than $1,000,000 up to nine figures. Gary is recognized by Super Lawyers in Business/Corporate law.

Edward (Ed) Corey, Jr. is a Weintraub shareholder and one of the foremost experts in the state on trusts and estates litigation and elder financial abuse. He has litigated trusts and estates matters for nearly 35 years, including fiduciary abuse, elder financial abuse, contested trust administrations, probate, and contested conservatorships. He now serves as an attorney neutral, providing alternative dispute resolution services for those seeking to resolve trusts and estates disputes. David W. Creeggan is a Weintraub shareholder and member of the Real Estate practice group. Dave’s practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, tax-deferred exchanges, leasing, and title matters. Dave works with clients ranging from family-owned businesses to publicly traded companies, as well as commercial property owners, investors, developers, asset managers, brokers, and professional fiduciaries, advising them on complex real estate matters. Charles (Chuck) Post is a Weintraub shareholder and, after more than 30 years with the Firm, is retiring. Chuck’s thriving practice included litigating complex business and employment cases, including but not limited to, misappropriation of trade secrets, corporate raiding, employee mobility, and unfair competition actions, as well as large wage and hour class actions. He has been a trusted legal advisor to clients large and small over the years, and one of Northern California’s most well-respected and formidable trial attorneys. Lizbeth (Beth) V. West is a Weintraub shareholder and Chair of the Firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. Beth has years of experience assisting employers in all aspects of their employment relationship with their employees. Her practice focuses on counseling and training business owners, HR professionals, and managers regarding various employment issues, including but not limited to, recruitment and hiring, performance and disciplinary issues, privacy, health and safety, employment policies and contracts, wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations, prevention of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, and terminations and layoffs. Beth is a charter and sustaining member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) and has passed the rigorous test to obtain AWI’s certificate in workplace investigations. She has years of experience conducting neutral investigations for both public and private employers.  She is also certified in employment mediation from Cornell University’s ILR School and provides trusted and effective mediation services for both pre- and post-litigation disputes.
