Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce that Justin M. Borrowdale has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for the Capital Region Family Business Center.

Justin is a shareholder at Weintraub Tobin and member of the Corporate practice group. His legal practice focuses on counseling public and private clients through finance transactions, merger and acquisition deals, and related commercial transactions. He advises entities of all sizes, from family-owned businesses to international investors, and represents companies and investors on financing transactions.
Justin was introduced to the wide range of resources, education, and networking that the Family Business Center provides when he attended the FBC’s annual Generations Conference. Shortly thereafter, he joined the Programs + Events committee to assist the organization in developing and delivering high-value educational and affinity group events for its expanding membership. Justin follows founding board member and fellow Weintraub shareholder Chris Chediak in serving on the FBC Board of Directors.
“The Family Business Center provides a vital network of professional resources for multi-generational, family-owned businesses throughout Northern California,” said Justin. “I am honored to partner with FBC at the leadership level and help further their mission of helping family businesses in the region grow and prosper.”
The Capital Region Family Business Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2007 to help family businesses meet their unique needs, including how to transition businesses to the next generation. The FBC provides education, affinity, collaboration, and resources to family businesses in the Sacramento, Central, and Northern California regions and partners with trusted technical advisors to help provide expert guidance and programming for members. Weintraub Tobin is one of two founding Technical Advisors for the Family Business Center.
