Alison Geddes Joins Board of Directors for BOMA California

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce that Alison Geddes has been elected to the 2025 Board of Directors for Building Owners and Managers Association of California (BOMA California).

Alison is a shareholder at Weintraub and member of the Firm’s Real Estate practice group. Her practice focuses on commercial leasing and lease enforcement, as well as property management issues. She represents property owners and managers on transactional matters such as the negotiation and drafting of commercial leases and commercial lease documents, including amendments, assignments, and termination agreements, as well as litigation matters such as unlawful detainers, breach of lease litigation, CAM disputes, and issues pertaining to abandonment of leased property and tenants’ personal property.

An active member of the commercial real estate community, Alison is also involved with various other local CRE organizations, including Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Sacramento, Sacramento Bar Association, Real Property Law Section, and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Sacramento, of which she is a past president (2018-19).

She has been recognized for her excellence in Real Estate law by The Best Lawyers in America® (2025 edition), Super Lawyers Northern California (2021-24 lists), and Sacramento Top Lawyers lists each year from 2016 to 2024. She is a frequent panelist and educator on leasing, lease enforcement, and property management issues for CRE and bar associations, as well as providing seminars for clients.

Building Owners and Managers Association of California (BOMA California) is the state’s leading organization for commercial real estate, aiming to preserve and promote the interests of California commercial real estate professionals through legislative and regulatory advocacy. As a federation of all eight local BOMA associations, BOMA California serves as the collective membership’s legislative and regulatory advocate. The Board of Directors is composed of five members nominated by local BOMA associations who work along with the Executive Committee to establish organizational policies and support the organization’s mission.
