Weintraub Tobin Welcomes Richard D. Buckley, Jr. in Los Angeles

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to welcome Richard D. Buckley, Jr. as a shareholder to the Firm.

A tenured litigator with over 25 years in practice, Richard has served as lead counsel in hundreds of matters for a wide variety of clients, including professional sports arenas and teams, automotive dealerships, commercial real estate owners, event marketers, manufacturers, a market research firm, entertainers and real estate developers.

Richard will be based in the Firm’s Los Angeles office with a focus on entertainment and sports litigation, including the litigation needs of high-profile clients with California, national and global footprints.

“We are excited to have Richard join our team and to expand our litigation capabilities here in L.A.,” said Jessica Corpuz, the Firm’s Litigation practice group leader and fellow Los Angeles-based litigator. “He brings a valuable set of experience and skills to the table that can help both serve our existing clients and bring new and different opportunities to the Firm.”

Richard received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Tulsa Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Southern California.
