WT Clients: Chase Palmer Joins Film Adaptation of Crime Thriller Novel, The Whisper Man

Weintraub client and writer Chase Palmer is working with Netflix, AGBO, and director James Ashcroft on a film adaptation of the New York Times bestselling crime thriller novel, The Whisper Man, by Alex North. Chase Palmer adapted the script.
Robert De Niro will star in the film, which follows a widow crime writer who, after his 8-year-old son is abducted, looks to his estranged father and retired police detective for help, only to discover a connection with the decades-old case of a convicted serial killer known as “The Whisper Man.”
Michael Keaton is also set to join the ensemble cast, along with John Carroll Lynch, Hamish Linklater, Owen Teague and Acston Luca Porto, among others.
Chase Palmer is represented by Weintraub shareholders Alan Grodin and Shaun Gordon.
