WT Wins: Weintraub Demonstrates Strength of Real-Property and Appellate Practices in Recent Wins – Both Reversing and Affirming Summary Judgements

Weintraub Tobin Appellate Law Specialist Brendan J. Begley and attorney Louis A. Gonzales, Jr., both shareholders in Weintraub’s Litigation group, successfully convinced the same panel of the California Court of Appeal 1) to reverse a summary judgment granted by one trial court judge against their client in an easement case and, in a separate case, 2) to affirm a summary judgment granted by that same superior court judge in favor of a different client in a case concerning a commercial real-estate lease. Louis offered sound real-property guidance in the first appeal and provided the winning elements in the second appeal to secure the underlying summary judgment. These two appellate cases not only highlight the strength of our appellate practice, led by Brendan, but also our litigation and real-property practice.
