WT Clients: Doug Liman Teams with Google on XR Film Project

Filmmaker Doug Liman and immersive content studio 30 Ninjas are partnering with Google to create an immersive extended reality project called Asteroid, one of the first major projects launching on Google’s forthcoming XR platform.

Described as a high-stakes action thriller, an immersive short film follows a group of strangers who take an old rocket to mine a near-Earth asteroid in pursuit of unimaginable wealth. The project goes beyond traditional storytelling—after the film concludes, audiences will receive a call from an AI-powered character on the asteroid, continuing the story in real time.

Doug Liman and 30 Ninjas are represented on this project by Weintraub attorneys Alan Grodin and Andy Tan.
