On November 13th, Brendan J. Begley presented Don’t Get SLAPPed in Family Court: Spotting and Managing SLAPP Issues in Family-Law Cases for the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s family law section. Brendan is an Appellate Law Specialist certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
The virtual presentation enabled attendees to:
- Identify and successfully attack a family-law SLAPP filed by your client’s opponent.
- Avoid filing a petition that gets challenged by an anti-SLAPP motion (which, if successful, can result in a hefty award of fees).
