Webinar – Navigating Leaves of Absence and Workplace Accommodations Part 2: Disability and Family Leave

  • When: Dec 10, 2025 09:30 am PST
  • Where: Webinar

Couldn’t attend the live session? Don’t worry—we hosted a two-part complimentary webinar! Our first session on November 12 covered pregnancy-related leaves and accommodations.

Attorneys Lukas Clary, Shauna Correia, and John Slavik from Weintraub Tobin’s Labor and Employment Group walked attendees through the basics of the laws that apply to leaves of absence for non-pregnancy-related serious medical conditions and disabilities, as well as “kin care” and military leaves. The webinar wrapped up with real-life case studies, providing practical insights and best practices for compliance.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

    • Family medical leave under the FMLA and CFRA as applies to disability leave
    • Disability accommodations under California FEHA  and the federal ADA, including post-statutory leave
  • Managing the use of vacation, sick leave, and statutory wage replacement benefits (PFL/SDI)
