Christopher Anderson Named Chair of Corporate Practice Group; Justin Borrowdale Named Vice-Chair

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce the appointment of shareholders Christopher Anderson as Chair and Justin Borrowdale as Vice-Chair of the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group.
Christopher (Chris) is a shareholder and accomplished transactional corporate and healthcare attorney based in the Firm’s Sacramento office. His practice focuses on business transactional matters, with particular emphasis on corporate and healthcare-related clients, healthcare regulatory advice, and complex healthcare mergers & acquisitions. He represents a broad range of clients, including private equity-backed healthcare management companies, ambulatory surgery center development companies, physician practices, hospitals, medical foundations, independent practice associations, clinical laboratories, healthcare technology companies, and telemedicine providers.
Chris also brings deep experience in negotiating joint ventures, limited partnership agreements, operating agreements, and restructuring sophisticated business arrangements. He is a member of the Business Law and Health Law Sections of the American Bar Association and Sacramento County Bar Association, and of the American Health Lawyers Association and California Society for Healthcare Attorneys.
Justin Borrowdale will serve as Vice-Chair of the Corporate group. Justin’s practice focuses on advising clients on M&A, financing, and corporate governance, including SEC and NASDAQ compliance. He represents lenders and borrowers in various loan transactions and assists clients with entity formation, trademarks, license agreements, and other corporate matters.

Chris succeeds shareholder Jim Clarke as Chair of the Corporate group. Jim served in this role for 16 years until December 2025. We thank Jim for his many years of dedicated service to the Corporate group and look forward to his continued contributions to the Firm.
