Honoring Community Impact: Janet Chediak Leads UCP Foundation as Weintraub Supports Annual Event

Weintraub Tobin is proud to support UCP of Sacramento and Northern California’s annual “Humanitarian of the Year” event on May 29, 2026. The Firm’s commitment to UCP’s mission, advancing life without limits for people with disabilities, is exemplified by Trusts & Estates attorney Janet Chediak’s longstanding leadership within the organization. Janet serves on the UCP Foundation Board of Directors and currently holds the role of Chair, where she has played an instrumental part in guiding the organization’s strategic direction. Notably, she is the first woman to serve in this leadership role since the beginning of the foundation in 2008.
Since its launch in 2008, UCP’s “Humanitarian of the Year” event has raised more than $4.2 million to help support children, adults, and families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Sacramento and Northern California region.
