Weintraub entertainment attorney Matthew Sugarman will co-present, “From Idea to Page to Screen” at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con Convention. Speaking on a panel alongside Kathleen Ortiz of KO Media Management, Holly Root of Root Literary, and Max Siemers of Magic Hour Entertainment, Sugarman will address the state of the publishing and adaptation businesses. The panel will be moderated by Nathan Bransford.
