Tatum J. Kennedy is an associate in the Firm’s Corporate practice group, with a focus on general corporate governance, entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and other entity transactions.

A native of the Sacramento area, Tatum attended St. Francis High School before receiving her mechanical engineering degree from the University of Alabama.  Eager to return to the Sacramento area to further her education, Tatum earned her Juris Doctor with Great Distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

Since graduating from law school, Tatum has quickly become recognized for her ability to navigate a wide variety of general corporate governance and transactional matters and solve the most complex and challenging problems for her clients.  Tatum’s technical background and problem-solving ability equip her to deliver practical and dynamic outcomes for businesses of all industries and sizes. She is committed to ensuring that her clients successfully navigate the unique issues and transactions they face and are successful in achieving their goals.

Tatum is highly active in several professional organizations. She currently serves as President of the Sacramento County Bar Association’s Barristers’ Division. When not at work, Tatum enjoys spending time outdoors.  She loves playing soccer, as well as attending college and professional sporting events of all kinds.
