Lukas Clary Named 40 Under 40 by Sacramento Business Journal

SACRAMENTO, CA (October 8, 2019) – Weintraub Tobin, a leading California full-service law firm, is pleased to announce that Lukas Clary has been named a 2019 40 Under 40 honoree by the Sacramento Business Journal.  Each year the publication recognizes young Sacramento professionals with a high level of career achievement and contributions to the community.

Lukas is a Shareholder in the Firm’s Labor & Employment and Litigation groups, where he represents clients in a wide range of business litigation, employment litigation, and employment counseling matters. He works closely with employers in the hospitality and trucking industries, among others, and has excelled in assisting them through the challenges created by the Dynamex decision that changed how California employers evaluate worker classifications. In his position as Marketing Shareholder, Lukas works with Weintraub’s business development team to help attorneys widen their networks and expand their careers.

Lukas has contributed significant time to the Sacramento Moot Court and Mock Trial competition as well as the La Familia STEM center, which was a project of the 2017 Leadership Sacramento class of which he is a graduate. Lukas earned his JD from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA from the University of California at Davis. He has been recognized as a Sacramento Top Lawyer and a Northern California Super Lawyer Rising Star.

“Lukas has built an impressive career at a young age,” said Weintraub Managing Shareholder Gary Bradus. “However, at Weintraub we also value leadership qualities and a dedication to community, both of which Lukas has displayed from the day he joined the Firm. He is an asset to Weintraub, his clients, and his community. This recognition is well-deserved.”
