Daniel M. Steinberg and Jessica A. Robison Join Weintraub Tobin; Launch Firm’s Construction Practice  

Weintraub Tobin continues to expand its services with the addition of Construction attorneys Daniel M. Steinberg and Jessica A. Robison. The legal team and their staff establish a Construction Law practice at Weintraub, which will work closely with the Firm’s Real Estate and Litigation groups.

The Weintraub Construction Law team has decades of experience representing clients in all aspects of complex construction projects and is uniquely able to develop and negotiate favorable contracts to ensure that client interests are protected. Working with owner-operators to Fortune 500 companies, Daniel and Jessica negotiated over $1 billion in preconstruction and construction contracts in the last year alone. Their in-depth understanding of the industry allows them to counsel clients on developing issues and recent industry changes and guide them through every project stage.

Daniel Steinberg represents international, national, and local construction companies, developers, property owners, subcontractors, material suppliers, and design professionals. His comprehensive services include negotiation and preparation of construction documents and contracts as well as preconstruction, prelitigation, and project delays. Should disputes arise, his industry-specific experience in mediation, arbitration, and litigation extends to contract disputes, construction defect issues, mechanic’s liens, lease disputes, rent actions, ADA defense matters, and more. As a neutral mediator, he is able to efficiently and fairly bring all parties to a settlement.

Jessica Robison’s extensive experience representing developers, owners, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors in complex civil litigation informs her work at every stage of an engagement. She negotiates and prepares complex construction contracts, including design, preconstruction, and construction agreements. Her litigation practice concentrates on construction defect claims, delay claims, breach of contract disputes, mechanic’s liens actions, and defense of ADA claims.
