Weintraub Tobin is pleased to welcome Lily M. Harris as a Shareholder to the Firm’s Trusts & Estates practice.
An experienced litigator who represents clients in a broad range of matters with a primary focus on trust and estate litigation, Lily helps professional fiduciaries, personal representatives, guardians, conservators, heirs, trustees, and other concerned parties protect their interests in a full range of probate and trust matters. She assists clients with petitions for probate, breach of trusts, removal or suspension of trustee; will and trust contests; Heggstad and Probate Code Section 850 petitions; spousal property petitions; and conservatorship and guardianship petitions, among other needs.
A California State Bar Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, Lily provides comprehensive representation in contested estate, trust guardianship and conservatorship cases. Before joining Weintraub, Lily was a partner at a family law firm where, in addition to her trusts and estates practice, she litigated high-net-worth divorce cases and provided clients with guidance on trusts and estates matters during the pendency of their divorce. Her crossover experience in family and probate law makes her uniquely adept at helping families navigate emotionally difficult transitions.
“Lily’s depth of expertise and high level of client service will be a tremendous asset to our practice group, our Firm, and our clients,” said Carlena L. Tapella, Chair of the Firm’s Trusts & Estate practice group. “We are thrilled to work with her and welcome her to our team.”
Lily will be based out of the Firm’s Sacramento office.
