Clients receive forward-looking strategic guidance at each stage of the litigation process and tenacious advocacy at court, in trial and before mediators and arbitrators.
Lily also oversees the administration of complex trusts and estates and provides wealth planning services, including designing and drafting comprehensive estate plans, preparing four-schedule trust and estate accountings and assisting in the preparation of trust and estate tax returns.
Before joining Weintraub, Lily was a partner at a family law firm where, in addition to her trusts and estates practice, she litigated high-net-worth divorce cases and provided clients with guidance on trusts and estates matters during the pendency of their divorce. Her crossover experience in family and probate law makes her uniquely adept at helping families navigate emotionally difficult transitions.
During law school, Lily was the senior technology editor of the Hastings Law Journal, as well as an editor for its blog, “On the Record.” She was a judicial extern for both the Office of the Circuit Executive for the Judicial Council of the Ninth Circuit and for District Chief Judge Jennifer Gee of the Office of Administrative Law Judges in the U.S. Department of Labor. An award-winning member of UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) Trial Team, Lily continues as an alumni coach of the team.
Lily is a content contributor for the CEB Treatise on Crossover Issues in Estate Planning and Family Law. She regularly speaks on trusts and estates issues, including for the National Business Institute and at the annual Fiduciary Attorney Summit.
