  • Where: 30th Annual PFAC Educational Conference at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA

On May 8th, Weintraub attorneys Kelly E. Dankbar, Lily M. Harris, and Josiah M. Prendergast will present at the 30th Annual PFAC Educational Conference at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. The event, hosted by the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC,) provides comprehensive education and networking opportunities for professional fiduciaries.

Their presentation, Private Practice – Navigating Business Interests As A Fiduciary, will cover critical issues a private fiduciary should consider when assuming control of business interests in a probate or trust administration. The panel will highlight key differences between various entity structures, entity and fiduciary-specific powers and duties, as well as how to preserve business value and continuity in a time of transition. They will also introduce hypotheticals based on common issues that arise in management of business entities by fiduciaries and explore next- level considerations, for example, whether assuming a management role in a business could lead to conflicting fiduciary duties to beneficiaries and third parties and how to mitigate that conflict.

Join their session at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Attendees will be eligible to receive 1.5 hours CEU/MCLE credit. For more details and a complete event program, please see on the PFAC website.
