Weintraub Names Jessica Corpuz, Shauna Correia, and David Creeggan New Practice Group Leaders

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce three new practice group leaders. Jessica Corpuz will now serve as the practice group leader for Litigation, Shauna Correia will serve as practice group leader for Labor & Employment, and David Creeggan will serve as practice group leader for Real Estate.

Jessica Corpuz handles complex commercial disputes, emphasizing entertainment and intellectual property litigation. As a shareholder based in Los Angeles, she has successfully represented clients in trial, mediation, arbitration, and appeal, including millions of dollars in jury verdicts as well as published reversals of adverse trial court rulings on appeal. Over the course of her career, Jessica has litigated cases in the fields of entertainment, international law, private equity and corporate transactions, breach of contract, and fraud, among others. She handles cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants and has appeared before federal and state courts across the country. Outside of the office, Jessica volunteers her time to teach classes in financial literacy and criminal record expungement to people in transitional housing through L.A. Family Housing. She is also an active member of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the Los Angeles Conservancy. Jessica has been recognized in the Southern California Super Lawyers “Rising Star” list.

Shauna Correia is an accomplished negotiator and experienced trial attorney. A shareholder based in San Francisco, Shauna represents businesses in a broad range of litigation matters in both California and Nevada. Many of Shauna’s clients rely on her for her advisory and risk-management capacities, particularly with regard to compliance with employment laws and avoiding litigation. She also reviews and drafts employment-related agreements and handbooks, conducts workplace investigations, and provides statutorily required trainings. She defends employers against alleged civil rights, tort, contract, and statutory violations, including discrimination and retaliation under Title VII and the FEHA, wage and hour, PAGA, and wrongful discharge claims under federal and state laws. Her other specialty areas include commercial contract negotiation and disputes, protection of intellectual property rights, and real estate matters. Shauna has been recognized in the Sacramento Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list and has been repeatedly recognized in the Northern California Super Lawyers list.

Dave Creeggan is a transactional real estate attorney and shareholder at a the Firm based in Sacramento. For more than 20 years, clients have turned to Dave for assistance in navigating complex real estate transactions. Dave understands the business, legal and practical considerations of a successful transaction, and works closely with his clients to achieve their desired results. His practice includes a broad spectrum of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, tax-deferred exchanges, build-to-suit, ground leasing, leasing for office, retail, industrial and agricultural properties, sale-leaseback transactions, title matters, easements and asset management. His clients range from family-owned businesses to publicly traded companies, and include commercial property owners, investors, developers, asset managers, brokers, and others. A leader in the community, Dave serves on several boards and participates in numerous organizations throughout the region, including the Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) Sacramento, serving as President in 2024, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Sacramento, and Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California.
