Nikki Mahmoudi is an associate in the Firm’s Labor & Employment practice group.
Nikki earned her J.D. from UCLA Law. During her time in law school, Nikki externed at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) as an Investigative Intern, where she conducted intake interviews of individuals with potential employment discrimination claims and reviewed employment discrimination laws to determine if such individuals had possible claims with the EEOC.
While in law school, Nikki took on various leadership roles. She served as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Islamic and Near Eastern Law and co-chaired the Youth Deportation Defense Clinic. Additionally, she served as a Graduate Assistant Tutor (GAT) for two years. As a GAT, she held a weekly, semester-long course for first-year Constitutional Law students, where she reviewed important class topics and provided guidance to students in regards to exam and law school success.
Nikki received her B.A. in International Relations from UC Davis. During and after her undergraduate education, Nikki worked at an immigration law firm for six years, where she interacted with clients closely to gather information for personal declarations and memoranda and drafted applications to help clients obtain status in the U.S.
In her free time, Nikki enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, riding her Peloton, and watching Turkish dramas.
