Talia Delanoy is a seasoned litigator and counselor who defends employers against a variety of claims including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and breach of contract.

Talia also defends employers in class action matters for alleged wage and hour violations such as failure to provide meal and rest breaks, failure to pay minimum wage, and failure to pay overtime or earned vacation. In addition, she has experience evaluating claims brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), which if properly defended, can save employers from costly penalties.

With a strong reputation in the community amongst local lawyers, mediators and judges, Talia’s goal is to assess the potential risk in each case early and provide her clients with a goal-oriented plan, including focused discovery and cost-effective investigation. Talia has defended clients in a broad array of industries including retail, fintech, construction, medical, alcohol and beverage, food service, and commercial transportation.

Talia has experience representing small independent businesses, Fortune 500 companies and non-profits. Talia practices in both state and federal courts and before administrative entities and has extensive experience with claims brought pursuant to the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).

When she is not litigating, Talia helps keep her clients out of the courtroom by advising on regulatory compliance and best practices with progressive discipline, termination and wage and hour issues. Talia also helps craft employee policies and navigate the complex issues employers face when managing disability leaves and accommodations.
