WT Wins: Talia Delanoy and Chris Horsley Prevail Defending a Private School in an Employment Dispute
Published: September 8, 2025
Weintraub shareholder Talia L. Delanoy and associate Chris Horsley prevailed in the defense of a private school employer in an employment case.
A former employee brought claims of religious discrimination, FEHA and Title VII retaliation, wrongful termination and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing related to his refusal to take COVID-19 tests as a reasonable accommodation for a religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine granted to him by the school. The arbitrator granted the summary judgment motion prepared by Talia and Chris in favor of their client, resulting in a complete dismissal of the claims.
