Kevin Barlev is an associate in the Firm’s Labor & Employment and Litigation practice groups, where he represents businesses and individuals in a range of complex employment and general litigation matters.

Kevin’s practice focuses on defense of employers in labor and employment cases, including individual, class action, and representative wage and hour claims under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), as well as discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wrongful termination claims asserted under the FEHA, Title VII, the Labor Code, and other statutes. 

He also represents individuals and entities in a variety of business and litigation matters including complex, multi-party tort and contract disputes. Before joining the firm, Kevin gained experience across a broad range of legal matters, including corporate regulations, landlord-tenant law, securities, trademark law, professional liability, real estate, and estate planning. His diverse background gives him a practical, well-rounded perspective when navigating complex legal issues. 

Kevin’s interest in law began alongside a passion for the entertainment and sports industries. During law school, he earned a CALI Award for the highest grade in his Professional Sports Law course, served as executive operations editor of his law school’s Communication and Entertainment Law Journal, and was president of the Sports Law Society.
