Madeline (Maddie) Giles is an associate in the Firm’s Trusts & Estates practice group, focusing on complex trust and estate litigation.

Maddie represents clients in contested conservatorships, estate disputes, and trust administration matters, advocating for conservators, beneficiaries, trustees (including fiduciaries), and other interested parties. Her experience spans both the plaintiff and defense sides, giving her a well-rounded perspective in navigating high-stakes, emotionally charged disputes.

Maddie graduated cum laude from UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings). As a student, she interned with the U.S. District Court of Nevada and the California Attorney General’s Office. She was a member of the UC Law SF Trial Team and Negotiation and Dispute Resolution Team, as well as the Managing Editor of the Communications and Entertainment Law Journal. She also participated in several organizations, including the Association of Youth Advocacy, the Health Education Resources Organization, the Indigenous & Native American Law Students Association, and Students for Immigrants’ Rights.

Before attending law school, Maddie worked for a personal injury and immigration law firm, where she specialized in preparing family-based immigration applications.

In her free time, Maddie enjoys improv comedy, musical theatre, and cooking elaborate dishes.
