Monica A. Silver is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation practice group.

Monica has a broad range of experience representing both private and public clients across all stages in litigation from pre-lawsuit investigations to trial in both state and federal courts. Her work spans employment, property, and personal injury-related matters. Prior to working at Weintraub Tobin, Monica worked with civil litigation firms serving clients in the areas of employment discrimination, property damage claims, and personal injury, including complaints brought under the Federal Employer’s Liability Act, complex asbestos litigation matters, and claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Monica obtained her law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. In law school, she served as a member of the Moot Court Honors Board as Vice-Chair and advocate in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. She also served as Vice-President for the Jewish Law Students Association and was a founding Board Member of the Craft Beer Law Association. She was named the 2019 McGeorge Appellate Advocate of the Year and was made a member of the Order of the Barristers.

In her free time, you can find Monica playing softball or golf, experiencing all Sacramento has to offer, and spending time with her dog, Percy.
