Weintraub Supports 2023 Hard Hats and High Heels Gala for Habitat for Humanity

Weintraub Tobin was proud to support Habitat for Humanity’s 2023 Hard Hats and High Heels Gala. The annual event, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, raised a record-breaking $497k to help support the work of Habitat for Humanity in addressing the affordable housing crisis in the Greater Sacramento Region.

Weintraub Participates in the 2023 Make-A-Wish® Poker Tournament

On August 12th, the Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada Chapter of Make-A-Wish hosted its 2023 Make-A-Wish® Poker Tournament, celebrating 40 years of granting wishes for children with critical illnesses. This year’s event raised more than $135,000 to support kids in the greater Sacramento area.

Weintraub Supports UCP of Sacramento and Northern California’s 2023 Humanitarian of the Year Event

Weintraub Tobin was proud to attend and support UCP of Sacramento and Northern California’s 2023 Humanitarian of the Year event. The dinner was held on June 15, 2023, and honored Curt Rocca, Managing Partner of DCA Partners, as the 2023 Humanitarian of the Year. The event raised over $418,900 that will go to support life without limits for people with developmental disabilities.

2022 Holiday Donation Drive Supports WellSpring Women’s Center

For our 2022 holiday donation drive, Weintraub employees donated items for and made financial contributions to Wellspring Women’s Center, a local nonprofit which serves women and children in the Sacramento area. The donations will go towards priority needs in four core programs offered by Wellspring: the Nutritious Meal Program, the Children’s Corner Program, the Women’s Wellness Program, and the Safety Net Services Program. We wish Wellspring and its community a wonderful holiday and thank the Center for the vital and valuable work they do throughout the year.

Lizbeth (Beth) West Speaks at Hope Cooperative’s “Stand Up Sacramento” Event

On October 27th, Hope Cooperative hosted the 10th Annual Stand Up Sacramento event, which raised over $100,000 to assist individuals and families experiencing mental health and homelessness challenges.

Weintraub shareholder and Hope Cooperative Board President Lizbeth (Beth) West spoke at the event about what led her to get involved with the organization and the difference it has made in the community.

Weintraub Partners with Syserco, Inc. to Help Support Bay Area Youth

Weintraub Tobin was proud to partner with Syserco, Inc. as a sponsor in the 7th Annual Golf for Kids’ Sake charity golf tournament on June 15, 2022.

The tournament, held in Livermore, CA, benefitted the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, raising over $157,000 to help support Bay Area youth. The proceeds help defend children’s potential with professionally supported mentorships throughout all nine Bay Area counties. 144 golfers attended the event, which featured a driving range, mini golf challenge, and golf pro-Patrick Bakerjian.
