The Bar Association of San Francisco Presents Diversity Conference 2024

On October 17th and 18th, The Bar Association of San Francisco’s Barristers Club Diversity and Inclusion Committee presented the Diversity Conference 2024.
The 2024 Diversity Conference theme was “Defending Democracy.” The conference included five sessions over two days and sought to deepen awareness and engagement around racial equity and inclusion efforts in the legal industry and society. This conference included multiple thought-provoking panels, prominent guest speakers, and more.
Weintraub attorney and Barristers Diversity Director Jacqueline Simonovich moderated Panel IV: Defending Immigrant Rights on October 18th, which discussed how advocates for immigrant rights are working to protect immigrants whose rights are under attack, as well as policy proposals to further safeguard and protect immigrant rights.
Weintraub shareholder Jessica Corpuz served as a speaker for Panel III: Defending Reproductive Rights after Dobbs: IVF, Emergency Care, and Medication Abortion on October 18th, where they discussed the recent legal developments impacting access to IVF, emergency care, and medication abortion.
