Weintraub Tobin Elevates Dustin Amrein and Benjamin Lewis to Shareholder

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce that Dustin Amrein and Benjamin Lewis have been named shareholders in the law corporation. 

Dustin Amrein is a shareholder in the Firm’s Construction and Litigation practice groups. He represents contractors, subcontractors, owners, and material suppliers in complex construction and real estate disputes. His practice includes assisting clients with matters involving mechanics liens, stop notices, construction delays, and construction defect claims, as well as advising clients throughout all stages of litigation. Dustin also represents commercial real estate clients in easement and quiet title actions, encroachment disputes, breach of lease and unlawful detainer actions, and complex contract disputes. He is actively involved in industry organizations, including serving on the Legal Advisory Committee for the Association of General Contractors of California (AGC). 

Benjamin J. Lewis is a shareholder in the Firm’s Litigation group, where he focuses his practice on education, employment, and nonprofit and religious entity litigation. He has broad experience handling complex tort claims, as well as claims involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Benjamin counsels and advocates for clients through all phases of litigation, from developing proactive risk-management strategies to defending complex disputes in state and federal court. A seasoned litigator, he has successfully resolved more than 100 cases, securing favorable outcomes that have saved clients millions of dollars. Drawing on a broad civil litigation background, Benjamin is known for his thoughtful strategy, practical judgment, and effective advocacy in complex and evolving matters.
